We have been scanning sheep in Australia since 1999, starting small we have grown and expanded to meet the demand of farmers keen to use the information we provide to better manage their flocks. Pregnancy testing sheep with ultrasound is a relatively quick and easy procedure.
SheepScan Australia provides a reliable, accurate and efficient service when it comes to identifying 'dry' ewes, singles, twins, triplets as well as early and late lambers.
We operate throughout Victoria, Tasmania and Western New South Wales and no job is too big or too small.
About Us
Scanning Sheep in Australia since 1999.
SheepScan Australia is based in the Western district of Victoria, however we cover a fairly wide range of territory, from Western New South Wales, most of Victoria and all of Tasmania. We begin scanning in January and finish in August, scanning in excess of a million sheep per year.
We take great care in developing our handling equipment to ensure maximum throughput with minimum effort, so its a faster, safer job for the operator, the sheep and the farmer. We take every precaution against the spread of disease washing our gear thoroughly at the completion of every job.
